Nice day for a bit of gardening and HMIS has been helping the Friends of Darley Street, https://www.facebook.com/groups/537773890615530/ a group of residents who have turned a well-used but neglected footpath into a Community Garden. Located in Heaton Norris this is a little green oasis that everyone can enjoy.
The far end of the garden is under a large tree so spreading roots have made planting difficult. HMIS were aske to produce a raised bed from timber salvaged by the Darley Street group. The pictures show the before and after scene.
We look forward to seeing the new bed planted up.
