At least it was raining on the Heatons’ Men in Sheds on Tuesday 14th of January when we got caught in a bit of inclement weather whilst installing the second Heaton Chapel & Heaton Moor “running in board” on the station’s south platform. This is a large sign showing the name of the station and the one we erected on Tuesday mirrors the one on the northbound platform unveiled about a year ago.
Dampened on Tuesday, we returned on Wednesday morning to the now sun-drenched platform to finish the sign off with a few dabs of paint and careful cleaning. We think it looks great, see what you think next time you visit Heaton Chapel and Heaton Moor station.
